OH HIIIIII! It’s been a hot second since we’ve graced ourselves on this virtual corner of the world. This year really threw everyone some curve balls, amiright? The circumstances of all of our summer and most of our fall weddings postponing to next year just made Bri + Danny’s wedding day that much more special. I mean, I knew I missed weddings, but didn’t truly understand the depth of what I missed until this celebration.
It’s the love that extends beyond just two people joining in marriage. It’s the showing up for your people in the midst of crazy life. It’s witnessing the impact two people’s character has had in this world and on the people in their lives. It’s the exhilarating mixed bag of emotions ranging from nervousness to joyfulness and gratefulness. I missed it all so much and shed some tears… which should come as no surprise to those who know me well.
Bri + Danny, there aren’t enough words to describe the happiness I felt celebrating you in 2020. Surrounded by your closest people and an explosion of colorful florals. If I could sum up your wedding day feels into florals, it would have been the ones on that ceremony arch. Bright, vibrant, happy, and unbridled! I AM SO HAPPY THIS DAY HAPPENED THIS YEAR. Here’s to many, many more colorful years together!
