Christine + Chris * Twin Oaks Garden Estate Wedding
Tropical Twin Oaks Garden Estate Wedding in San Marcos, CA
As with all great romances, Christine and Chris were friends before there was the mushy gushy love. He’s actually been such a huge part of her kids’ lives that there was no hesitation when he asked them how they felt about him proposing to their mama. "I didn’t make a family. I found a family," Chris said in his vows to Christine, and there couldn’t be a better way to describe these two and their journey to come together as now a family of four.
This powerhouse couple has a love story fit for a fairy tale. They operate a rad meal prep company together and I've loved watching Christine be the face and Chris be the ever-present hype man alongside her, making her dreams THEIRS. They just recently bought an actual brick and mortar and have been working their asses off to open. Shameless plug for my friends coming atcha? You bet: My Healthy Penguin
Clearly, it’s always come naturally for these two to partner in life. Even in these last two years, I’ve seen how they drop everything in pursuit of helping each other discover their true potential. Life partners. Biz partners. And now TWO Holyfields taking the world by storm.
Their big day is one for the books, literally. They took it to the next level with their two besties as flower dudes. That’s the kind of energy we ship. Watching Christine’s dad walk her to the beginning of the aisle before handing her off to her children… let’s just say, I’m not crying – you’re crying.
Twin Oaks Garden was enchanting. Did you see the garden space?! Secret Garden vibes anyone? These two utilized the space beautifully with the mix of that sleek black decor against the tropical florals. Also – we have to talk about what they wore? THE MATCHING LOUBOUTINS! Bringing the heat. That was the very first thing they got for their wedding day. I love it.
The evening photos, under the lit-up tunnels, are a true San Diego photographer’s dream. Romantic, sexy, and fun all in one. I will forever claim that I have the best job in the world. Don't fight me on this.
Christine and Chris, thank you so much for inviting me into your lives. You and your people are what make our jobs feel less like a job. Here's to many years killing it out there and making your mark on this world together!
