Emily + Josh * San Diego Botanic Garden Wedding

Em and Josh, I know that YOU'VE been waiting for so long for this day, but I've been there right with you anticipating it all. Dinner in that greenhouse at the San Diego Botanic Garden. Surrounded by the waterfall and all the plant babies for your first look and portraits. And then getting DOWNNNNN (and up since I guess you were on everyone’s shoulders haha) so freakin’ hard on the dance floor.

Days like these feel like Christmas morning to me! My friendship with these two moved beyond just vendor-client matters so it really felt like I got to witness 2 of my friends becoming The Nelsons... but even better because I got to be in the mix for all the moments that you don't get to experience as a wedding guest!

Shoutout to Ja Rule for being their entrance song and starting this party off on the most lit foot ever.

I get asked often what my fave part of weddings are, and my answer is always the PARTY. The time when all the stresses and to-do's are done. When mom takes a shot with her daughter. When high school best friends freak out and go hard when that throwback song plays.

When everyone kicks off their heels, unties the bowties, and CELEBRATES uninhibited. And you bet you'll find me right in the middle of all the chaos, in disbelief that this is my job! 🔥🔥
