Rochelle + Ian * Big Sur Elopement

HELLO IT’S A KICKASS ELOPEMENT IN BIG SUR! That could be all I need to say, but Rochelle + Ian’s love story makes everything so much more special. These two only really knew each other for 48 hours before making the decision to do long distance. Not gonna lie… I cried a little (okay, maybe a lot). Their elopement was everything they could ever dream of, and absolutely did justice to their love story!

Both Rochelle + Ian value their time together because unfortunately, they didn’t get much of it while they were dating. They were about 5,626 miles apart and still put in all the energy to MAKE. IT. WORK. I don’t know about you, but these two have definitely restored my faith in humanity. 

When deciding on what they wanted to do for their wedding, they knew one thing for sure. After all the Facetime dates, late night texts, and early morning phone calls, they were so excited to just be married already. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why they chose to elope in the first place! They wanted their wedding day to be all about finally being able to celebrate their love together instead of thousands of miles apart. 

Wait, did I mention the most important part of the story?? THEY BROUGHT THEIR FRENCH BULLDOG. I REPEAT, THEY BROUGHT THEIR. FRENCH. BULLDOG. So PSA to anyone out there considering eloping, I’m begging you… please bring your dog. 

After they tied the knot in the middle of the most PERFECT, picturesque location, they and their small number of guests had an intimate dinner afterwards. Low-key, with a killer view, and top notch food.

And that right there is the best thing about elopements. You can do WHATEVER the hell you want! This couple grabbed their immediate family, chose a killer destination, and had something small, intimate, and stress-free after their ceremony.
