Jasmine + Austin * Palomar Mountain Wedding

Jasmine & Austin were a last minute couple who inquired two months before their microwedding, and MAN am I glad they did. Not only did their day seriously kick ass, but the LOVE everyone felt on that day was tangible. So, what made their microwedding so special??

Why did they decide to go forward with a microwedding?

Like most couples, they originally wanted the traditional big wedding, but ultimately decided against it for COVID-related reasons. Instead of cancelling or postponing the whole shebang, they chose to still make the occasion happen by adjusting their vision.

And guess what?? Because they had the freedom to pretty much do whatever the hell they wanted, their microwedding ended up being EVERYTHING they could have dreamed of. Their ceremony was held on a secluded mountain top and the mini-reception was in Jasmine’s mom’s backyard. With their limited guest list and abundance of love, their wedding was one that I’ll never forget!

A common theme throughout this microwedding was a sense of community with all of Jasmine & Austin’s guests. Not only did Jasmine’s mom offer up her backyard for them to celebrate, but their entire circle contributed to making their day a success. Jasmine’s sister even volunteered to be the makeup artist for the day!

As you can see, eloping or adjusting wedding day expectations can be so much more than just running away and tying the knot. It can be about being surrounded by family and friends who want your wedding day to be just as special as you do!! AND it can be about getting some pretty rad pics, too.
